Who We Are

About Us

Long before the conception of Careworks Foundation, Quess Corp had started something called the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in 2011. Through this program the associates of Quess were receiving counselling and help for their workplace issues as well as personal problems. An internal study conducted by the company revealed that out of 85,000 employees, about 80% people were from margins of society who needed assistance for education of kids and personal health and hygiene. The company started out a small team to provide education and health related assistance as well, to the employees under EAP. Seeing the impact of this program, Quess decided to set up a not-for-profit organisation for the benefit of the larger society.

With the belief that “Care” actually “Works”, Careworks Foundation (CWF) was formed in 2014 to act as a catalyst of change and create better lives. Driven by the belief that education and health are the two major pillars to accelerate growth in a society, CWF identified several smaller elements under these to encourage community development.

Our vision is to actively contribute to the community and create a positive impact in the lives of people, especially in the areas of health and education. In doing so, we aim to build a healthy and educated workforce and provide sustainable livelihood for the weaker sections of the society.

Focus Areas

The Millennium Development Goals, initiated by the United Nations in 2000, also reinforced our belief that health and education are two important focus areas.

  • Education: Providing material and financial assistance, improving the infrastructure of schools and uplifting the quality of education.
  • Health: Providing safe and hygienic environment for children to study and proactive health checks and preventive healthcare education.
